Kayla + Monte: Central Park Anniversary Session

OK! I straight up love these two! I feel so blessed to have met them and to be a part of this anniversary picnic in Central Park. It was nothing short of perfect. Could you even tell it was 90 degrees? We were all sweating... TMI?

Meeting these two was a whirlwind. I first spotted them in November 2014 when Monte was photographing Kayla for her blog on Bedford. His beard at the time was MASSIVE, so he was hard to miss. I mean they're honestly hard to miss with their killer style. The friend I was with mentioned wanting to work with them, so I told him to go up and talk to them (because even I was too nervous to strike up a conversation). He shook his head no and we kept walking, assuming we'd never see them again...

Flash forward a couple of days and I was at Nu New York helping with a small piece for their social media. Can you guess who the model was? Kayla and Monte showed up and of course I went straight to telling them how I had spotted them and wanted to chat with them, so this was beyond awesome to get to meet and work with them! They were both so kind and kept saying I should have come up! (TIP: Always always always!! just do it. Don't be afraid. You'll regret it if you don't and things like this may not happen every time) The funniest part of the entire day was Monte and I were wearing the exact same outfit! 

Unfortunately, I met them on the last leg of my first solo trip in New York, so I couldn't plan an actual shoot out. BUT we met up 8 months later for a couple of shoots! I shot with Kayla on her own (view here) and the two of them together in celebration of their anniversary. Enjoy these cuties!!

OKAY THESE TWO!!

I first met Dylan on Instagram at least a year or two ago. I was so stoked when I found out he was going to be in New York at the same time. Dylan is a professional model signed to Q Models, who I had set up a go-see with to meet a group of models. Of course Dylan was one of the models, so we met up beforehand for coffee and he mentioned I'd also be meeting his friend Ashlen. 

Ashlen is the coolest! When I met her, there was an instant connection and I knew I really wanted to shoot with her. Less than a week later, we had a shoot set up. Mid-shoot, we thought why not see what Dylan is doing? About an hour later, Dylan showed up and we grabbed some shots in Brooklyn before heading into the city for some pizza and more photos. These two absolutely rocked it!

Gabe + Taylor: Miami Styled Session

Gabe is one of my dearest friends. I was so excited to finally shoot with Gabe. He was one of the first models I ever wanted to work with when I started photography. While I was in Miami, he and I had a chance to meet up. Basically I hung out with him almost every day I was in town. On one of the days, he invited Taylor who is also with his agency CGM in Miami to join us. We put together a cute styled shoot.

I absolutely LOVE these two! Dylan and I met in New York in November 2014 at his agency Wilhelmina. Back then, I knew I wanted to work with him! Unfortunately, he was booked for the specific shoot I needed him for. Flash forward to August 2015 and he's in California, so we finally were able to shoot.

About a month later, we were both back in New York and Vita was about to head out on a tour for a few months. I had recently started working with bloggers and Vita is 1/2 of the Blonde Tigers, so of course I wanted to work with her. Of course it was absolutely necessary to get a shoot in before she left! Within a few hours of texting Dylan to ask if this could happen, we were shooting. We met on Bedford and wandered around and found some great spots to shoot along the stroll.
