AN IN HOME PODCAST COUPLE’S SESSION

Erika and Mike wanted some updated photos in their temporary Riverside home & since they have a podcast, we focused a little on those shots. They needed an updated cover for their podcast plus some lifestyle shots for Erika, which turned out so cute and fun! Pro trip: make those photos feel like YOU! The whole point of an engagement or couple’s session is to make it feel like you, so if you’re homebodies, let’s take photos in your home. If you hike a lot, let’s go hike at one of your favorite trails! Erika and Mike truly made this shoot feel like them, which made for even better photos!!

Brandon + Natalie: Beverly Hills Hotel Couple's Session

A BEVERLY HILLS COUPLE’S SESSION

Brandon and Natalie flew to LA and of course it was time for a re-up on photos for both of them! I always love working with them because I not only help create content for them individually, but also together. They’re a pretty “black and white only” kind of couple AKA all of their clothes are either black or white, BUT one of Brandon’s key colors is blue. Naturally, we had to get a few shots of him in his blue sport coat, but of course we got plenty of black and white outfits in.

Bryttani + Ryan: Malibu Creek State Park + Paradise Cove Engagement

A MALIBU ENGAGEMENT SESSION

Bryttani + Ryan!! Ah these two are fun!! :) They’re huge country fans, so it only made sense to incorporate their love for all things country. They’re also water babies, so we made sure to hit the beach after spending some time at Malibu Creek State Park. It was such a gorgeous night and we wound up with some of the best photos!! Okay I know Venice is cool, but hot dang these two make Venice COOL! It was actually super hot this day and they were 10000% on fiiiire, but they rocked it. Lizette loves Sam Smith, so we spent the day searching for him along Abbot Kinney. We did run into Sam Claflin, who I totally made eye contact with and shortly after tripped while holding Lizette's bouquet and texting my mom to tell her I saw him haha! Thankfully the bouquet was fine and I only had a scraped knee ha! Enjoy these ridiculously hip couple!

A WORK/LIFE BALANCE RELATIONSHIP

Do you ever feel like you have no days off? I mean honestly that's me every dang day. As a business owner and a freelancer, I work for myself, so I make my own hours, but honestly a lot of the time it feels like I'm ALWAYS working! Kristen and Seth 100% understand the struggle of work/life balance. We took the day to focus on them and what their day to day looks like. While they both are constantly traveling, working, emailing, etc - they often get to do it together, which is awesome! That's exactly what you want in a relationship. They do definitely spend a lot of time apart as well, but they make it work and do their best to maintain a work/life balance. We spent most of the day wandering around DTLA, specifically the arts district, but we also made it back to West Hollywood for some good shots! Enjoy!
