Kassy + Scott: Stanford Graduate School Couple Session
A DANA POINT COUPLE’S SESSION
Kassy and Scott both got into grad school at Stanford and wanted to do a little announcement photo shoot. They recently bought a house in Dana Point, so it made sense to take photos in their backyard. Dana Point has some great locations, but one of my favorites in the Dana Point Harbor, specifically the Ocean Institute. The tide wasn’t too hide, so we were able to go down on the beach as well.
When it comes to posing, they really wanted to show off their shirts, but still be cute and cuddly. We had to get a little creative after we did the basic “stand there and smile” shots. Don’t be afraid to get in close, snuggle, and make each other laugh. Kassy kept moving, so we were able to get some natural, in the moment photos that also look somewhat posed.
After we snapped some photos with their Stanford shirts, they switched into another outfit for some anniversary photos and headshots. We were also able to go down on the sand and they even got into the water.
Dani + Josh: Pasadena City Hall + Madeline Garden Bistro Elopement
A PASADENA ELOPEMENT
Dani and Josh celebrated their marriage by hosting a small ceremony at Pasadena City Hall and a reception at Madeline Garden Bistro in Pasadena. Their families were there to witness it all and their pups played a small part in their ceremony! It was truly an honor to photograph their wedding day
Karissa + Rocky: Shaw's Cove Engagement Session
A SHAW’S COVE ENGAGEMENT SESSION
Wooooo, wedding day in t-minus 8 days!! I can’t wait to celebrate these two so soon. I had such a blast hanging with them and their pup Scrappy at Shaw’s Cove in Laguna Beach for their engagement session. They brought champagne and a blanket for a cute setup on the beach at sunset. I can’t wait to see what they have planned for their wedding day!
Also shout out to Karissa’s dad who came to watch Scrappy when he wasn’t needed for photos. Pro tip: bring a friend or family member to hang with your pup during downtime or to take your pup off your hands during the second half of the shoot.
Dustin + Emily: Top of the World Maternity Session

I was so excited when Emily reached out about doing a maternity session at Top of the World in Laguna Beach. We’ve known each other forever - used to celebrate Superbowl Sunday and Thanksgiving together. I also had the pleasure of second shooting her wedding in La Jolla.
