A GREENPOINT, BROOKLYN ANNIVERSARY SESSION

I had the pleasure of attending WRKSHP and learning from one of the best, Phil Chester. His work is incredible - so simple and effortless yet he captures each person and couple in such a unique way. It was interesting to hear how he shoots as well as watch as he shot. We also had some time to shoot with the couple and it was a blast. I shot half a roll of film as well, so check out those film shots in there!! I definitely want to incorporate more film shots here and there!

Natalie + Nick: DUMBO Anniversary Session

A WALK BY THE BROOKLYN BRIDGE

My rad friends Natalie and Nick!! Natalie and I met on a styled shoot then we met again at a wedding. We realized we attended the same business workshop and lived near each other (at least at the time). We met again at another business workshop and all had the same thoughts - to move to NY and do more weddings in NY! SO we did a shoot so they could start promoting even more in NY.

Their plans changed a bit and they wound up having to move home to MN, but they are still booking plenty of New York weddings, so if you’re looking for amazing wedding videographers, HIT THEM UP!!!! They travel just like I do and are SUPER RAD!

Gonzo + Shelby: Top of the World + Moss Cove Anniversary Session

A LAGUNA BEACH ANNIVERSARY SESSION

Two years later… TWO YEARS! So wild! Gonzo first contacted me when he was proposing to Shelby. This time Shelby contacted me to take anniversary photos & soon after this they announced they were pregnant. It’s so sweet to be a part of a couple’s journey beyond engagement photos and wedding photos.

Our first two shoots were in Laguna at Montage (proposal) and Victoria Beach (engagement session), so it only made sense to return to Laguna for some photos! We went to Top of the World and Moss Cove - two of my favorite spots.

Jessi + Parker: Huntington Beach Anniversary Shoot

A HUNTINGTON BEACH ANNIVERSARY SESSION

I met Jessi and Parker at their house then we walked to the beach together for a fun little shoot. Parker and Jessi were learning to surf, so it made sense to incorporate their surfboard in a few shots. I mean they live steps from the beach. They’re such goofballs, especially Parker - so many moments of him trying to lick her face or dropping her in the ocean. I was cracking up most of this shoot and clearly so were they!

A WRAP ON 2018!!!

Wooooooo! 2018! You were freaking great! All of you are freaking great, too! Thankful! That’s the best word to describe how i feel about 2018 - thankful. Another successful year for me and this is really only year 2 for weddings. I worked with some of the best couples this year and again was able to travel the world! I photographed couples in LA, OC, London, New York, Minneapolis, New Jersey, Canada, Tucson, Palm Springs, and Santa Barbara! Cheers to 2018! Check out some of my favorites from this year!!
