Ice cream during your engagement session? Heck yes! I always encourage couples to choose a location or activity that’s meaningful to them. Hope + Patrick love going for ice cream, so of course we had to start their Pasadena engagement session at Afters ice cream. YUM! Their outfits fit the vibe perfectly and the harsh light really added to the vibeeee!
Bryttani + Ryan!! Ah these two are fun!! :) They’re huge country fans, so it only made sense to incorporate their love for all things country. They’re also water babies, so we made sure to hit the beach after spending some time at Malibu Creek State Park. It was such a gorgeous night and we wound up with some of the best photos!! Milee and Tommy came to LA for a quick visit while planning their wedding back home in Korea. They thought it would be a great chance to get an engagement shoot in. Tommy had been to LA plenty of times (he grew up in the states), but it was Milee’s first trip. We decided on DTLA Arts District because there are SO MANY options. We grabbed coffee first at Blue Bottle then wandered around the streets and found some fun locations!
Wooooooo! 2018! You were freaking great! All of you are freaking great, too! Thankful! That’s the best word to describe how i feel about 2018 - thankful. Another successful year for me and this is really only year 2 for weddings. I worked with some of the best couples this year and again was able to travel the world! I photographed couples in LA, OC, London, New York, Minneapolis, New Jersey, Canada, Tucson, Palm Springs, and Santa Barbara! Cheers to 2018! Check out some of my favorites from this year!! Coffee, cuddles and lots of love in Old Town Pasadena with Connie and David! They met on coffee meets bagel, so coffee was obviously a must, but unfortunately most bagel shops are closed by 5PM, so no luck with the bagels! They are so so fun and I can’t wait to post their wedding, too! For now, enjoy this sweet engagement session!
