A GRACE COMMUNITY CHURCH WEDDING

Talk about a fun, Jesus loving couple right here! I had a blast photographing their wedding alongside my friend Alexa. They were married at Grace Community Church surrounded by family and friends. They did a “first prayer",” where they didn’t see each other, but rather held hands and prayed together before their ceremony. It was such a special and beautiful moment.

Their reception was one for the books. They gave me a heads up their reception would be pretty unique compared to other wedding receptions. There was no dancing (including no first dance), but they had areas setup for their guests to play games, read books, drink tea, and more as well as a talent show. Okay I know Venice is cool, but hot dang these two make Venice COOL! It was actually super hot this day and they were 10000% on fiiiire, but they rocked it. Lizette loves Sam Smith, so we spent the day searching for him along Abbot Kinney. We did run into Sam Claflin, who I totally made eye contact with and shortly after tripped while holding Lizette's bouquet and texting my mom to tell her I saw him haha! Thankfully the bouquet was fine and I only had a scraped knee ha! Enjoy these ridiculously hip couple!

Weddings in downtown are such a dream because us photographers can get all sorts of creative! The arts district is especially awesome because no matter where you look, theres a killer background. Amy and Oleg both got ready at the Ace Hotel then headed over to Millwick for their intimate ceremony. We spent a lot of time hanging out with them and taking photos all over DTLA beforehand!

It was such a pleasure second shooting for Cassia. Cameron and Priscilla were one of the nicest couples ever. They're so sweet and quiet, but their love shines through it all. Cameron was raised by his grandfather, so as a surprise to his grandpa, he and his new bride took on his grandfather's last name, Maxson. Enjoy these special moments from their beautiful wedding day!
