Kristabelle and Ray brought a picnic and their dog, Mochi for a sweet little evening at Lions Lighthouse in Long Beach. It was WAY brighter than we thought it would be, but we made it work. We had one location to work with at a variety of angles. We worked out way around the lighthouse, which gave us so many options! It was hard to narrow down. Enjoy these cuties!!
When your model friend gets engaged, you 100000% reach out letting him know you’re down to shoot his wedding! Mike said he’d keep me in mind because he was getting married in Wisconsin. He and Alyssa did some research and eventually reached out to me in their search for a photographer. Turns out my prices were fairly similar to Wisconsin wedding photographers plus they already knew me, so it wasn’t even a question for them! I headed to Minneapolis for the first time to shoot their engagement photos. 2 full days of hangs with these two was so so fun! We watched movies, ate way too much food, and barely got caught in the rain during their engagement photos. I can’t wait for their wedding in a few months!!
Sean and Tracy came down to Laguna for a weekend getaway. Tracy’s sweet sister, Robyn booked an engagement session for them and I was so excited to work with them. They’re musicians, so naturally they brought their guitar and played some songs on the beach. We had such a blast!
I’m such a fan of engagement session that are 10 minutes from my house AND combine my former part time job with my current full time job. Cassy and Ethan are SO FUN and SO SWEET!! They were totally down to shoot in the rain if it did rain, but thankfully it stayed clear for our entire shoot. Sure the clouds were gray, but this shoot turned out MAGICAL!!! The light was perfect since there were tons of clouds and they were just SO IN LOVE!!! I barely had to direct them, which is my absolute favorite. I turned on some tunes and let them dance, play, and cuddle up as much as they wanted! After wandering Los Rios St and Northwest Open Space, we needed an afternoon snack and In N Out was on their list of shoot locations, so it only made sense! Enjoy!!!
Wooooooo! 2018! You were freaking great! All of you are freaking great, too! Thankful! That’s the best word to describe how i feel about 2018 - thankful. Another successful year for me and this is really only year 2 for weddings. I worked with some of the best couples this year and again was able to travel the world! I photographed couples in LA, OC, London, New York, Minneapolis, New Jersey, Canada, Tucson, Palm Springs, and Santa Barbara! Cheers to 2018! Check out some of my favorites from this year!!
