Cassy + Ethan: Los Rios St + In N Out Engagement Session

A RUN THROUGH A FIELD & AN AFTERNOON SNACK

I’m such a fan of engagement session that are 10 minutes from my house AND combine my former part time job with my current full time job. Cassy and Ethan are SO FUN and SO SWEET!! They were totally down to shoot in the rain if it did rain, but thankfully it stayed clear for our entire shoot. Sure the clouds were gray, but this shoot turned out MAGICAL!!! The light was perfect since there were tons of clouds and they were just SO IN LOVE!!! I barely had to direct them, which is my absolute favorite. I turned on some tunes and let them dance, play, and cuddle up as much as they wanted! After wandering Los Rios St and Northwest Open Space, we needed an afternoon snack and In N Out was on their list of shoot locations, so it only made sense! Enjoy!!!

A GOIN' NATIVE SAN JUAN WEDDING

Sam and Tanner are one of the sweetest couples who were referred to me by our mutual friend Brady Cramm. Turns out we have a lot more mutual friends including Sam's brother Evan and Tanner's friend Nate. Tanner and I also attended APU together, but we weren't the same major, so we didn't have classes together and our paths really didn't cross at all. It was such an honor to have my friend and associate photographer, Carsten Tice cover this wedding for me. Sam + Tanner's wedding was so beautiful, which you'll see very soon! They shared in some special moments including prayer time with their family + wedding party as well as communion with their family during the ceremony.

It's not every day a childhood friend reaches out and asks you to photograph their wedding. I was beyond thrilled when Kaelie reached out, especially since we haven't seen each other since middle school. She and Chase met in Nashville and she somehow managed to get him out to California haha! They are so sweet and so perfect for one another! I really enjoyed walking around Los Rios street with them while Chase goofed off and Kaelie modeled away. We even grabbed their favorite coffee and my favorite chai from Hidden House after the shoot. A San Juan Capistrano DIY Wedding

The Millers -- Oh what a joy it was to be a part of their special day! Somehow Jessica and I became friends on Facebook, probably due to all of our mutual friends and the fact that she grew up next door to one of my closest friends. Regardless, she contacted me about photographing her wedding and I was beyond thrilled to accept simply because she's gorgeous, but also because I loved what I saw on her Facebook profile. I knew instantly we would be a good fit.

They were married right up the hill from the house she grew up in. Literally up the hill! I mean talk about an amazing location! Who would have thought it would be right here in Orange County, California? We stepped right into the woods and it was magical. After the ceremony, we headed to the community clubhouse for the reception. Their wedding was a true DIY wedding. I'm so glad I could be a part of it.

I absolutely love they took communion together -- one of my favorite moments from the day.

I love this final image especially because it's so blurry. You can just tell they are beyond stoked to be married and to be celebrated -- these are the true real, raw moments.
