A LITTLE SURFER LOVE IN NEWPORT BEACH

Two of the hippest, beach going, Jesus loving, Newport Beach living people I know! I met Amber when she contacted me about headshots. Turns out she and I went to college together, but didn’t really know each other then. Her best friend Ashten also grew up going to my church, so we had lots of connections. I asked if she and David would be down to do a “for fun” shoot because I had some free time and wanted to build my portfolio a little more with cool couples! David was down and we had it planned for later that week! They weren’t engaged and did their best to make sure they didn’t look like engagement photos, although he did eventually propose a month later! Now they’re married and living it up! Howard + Lorie: Rancho Santa Margarita Engagement Session

A STROLL AROUND RSM LAKE

Howard and Lorie met at Bible study. He was into her and she just wasn't interested in getting into a relationship. Eventually after a lot of pursuing and hanging out after Bible study ended, they wound up dating. Here they are today so in love! We met up in RSM and made one big loop around the lake. It was a little after Christmas, so there were still some decorations up, which of course they wanted to incorporate into their shots.

AN ANNIVERSARY VACATION TO SF

The Deharts in San Francisco! They decided to have a little getaway from Utah alone for their anniversary and wanted some photos to document the memories. They wanted iconic San Francisco backgrounds, but not too typical or basic. Of course we had to get the Golden Gate Bridge though because how else do you know you're in SF? Enjoy!

This sweet couple live in Mission Viejo and chose to get married in their own community. They got married at sunset right on the water at Lake Mission Viejo. It was absolutely beautiful. Their wedding party was legit as can be and each walked in to their own special song and received a special thank you from the bride and groom before they could reach their seat. Talk about a really thoughtful bride and groom! Enjoy!
