Orange County Maternity Photographer
Laguna Beach offers so many beautiful beaches and Shaw’s Cove is one of my favorites. I never pick favorite clients, but these two are some of my favorite people to work with. I’m always so thankful and feel really blessed when they reach out about photos. We chose Shaw’s Cove because there are so many options at this beach and it’s usually not insanely crowded.
I’m so excited for these sweet friends! They welcomed their first baby and asked me to photograph these special moments. I had the pleasure of photographing their maternity session in Laguna Beach then a few months later I photographed their in home family session, which I’ll share soon, too!
It’s truly a joy to get to photograph milestones for such sweet friends and clients. If this is your first time seeing Matthew and Nichole on the blog, Nichole and I went to the same church growing up. I met Matthew at his cousin’s wedding. A little over a year later, I took their engagement photos and about 6 months after that I photographed their wedding. I was so stoked when Nichole contacted me about maternity photos. We met at one of my favorite locations, Top of the World, at golden hour. It turned out BEAUTIFUL!
Ugh my sweet friends Emma and Nicole!! They went through IVF and welcomed a beautiful baby girl! I second shoot for Nicole A TON and she’s one of the best photographers I know, so I was both honored and insanely nervous going into this shoot. At the time, I hadn’t done a ton of maternity sessions, or at least not one recently and photographing your mentor is stressful as heck!! I felt like I didn’t know how to direct or any ideas went straight out of my mind! It was overwhelming, but fun at the same time. Even though she told me she loves my photos (and I believe her), it’s still intimidating and I wanted to deliver the best photos to her and Emma.
We met at Top of the World at golden hour and let me tell you, it was beyond dreamy! The light was perfect and the hills looked awesome in the background. It’s definitely become one of my favorite places to shoot at .
When Brandon asked if I wanted to come to a maternity session while I was in Tampa, I jumped on the opportunity to join him. He let me shoot around him and told me I was free to direct if I’d like. I let him do his thing and just worked around him. I managed to get some fun shots and found out they’re also huge Red Sox fans!! It was the perfect shoot to join in on!
