Gonzo + Shelby: Top of the World + Moss Cove Anniversary Session

A LAGUNA BEACH ANNIVERSARY SESSION

Two years later… TWO YEARS! So wild! Gonzo first contacted me when he was proposing to Shelby. This time Shelby contacted me to take anniversary photos & soon after this they announced they were pregnant. It’s so sweet to be a part of a couple’s journey beyond engagement photos and wedding photos.

Our first two shoots were in Laguna at Montage (proposal) and Victoria Beach (engagement session), so it only made sense to return to Laguna for some photos! We went to Top of the World and Moss Cove - two of my favorite spots.

Brandon + Natalie: Palm Desert Couple's Session

A PALM DESERT COUPLE SESSION

Natalie and Brandon invited me out to their home in Palm Desert for a couple’s session and some individual branding photos for each of them. They played golf, pickle ball, and we wandered out into the desert a little bit. Natalie and I went to downtown Palm Desert for a few photos, too.

Kaitlin + Steven: Shaw's Cove Engagement Session

Kaitlin was just waiting to book a venue and date to actually book me as her photographer - I mean talk about a compliment!!! We went to middle school together along with her best friend Kaelie, whose wedding I shot a year and a half ago. I was so honored when Kaelie asked me to photograph her wedding and of course Kaitlin was there and could see how I worked firsthand. I had hoped when Kaitlin got engaged she would think of me, too!

This engagement shoot was SO FUN! They wanted something local - a spot Kaitlin grew up going to, so Shaw’s Cove only made sense. They brought beers - hazy IPAs and I wasn’t a huge IPA fan until I drank a hazy IPA. SO GOOD! Also… these two claim to be awkward… WHAT?! Not awkward at all! Enjoy the non-awkward photos!!

Berto + Eliana: Carbon Canyon Redwood Engagement Session

AN ORANGE COUNTY REDWOOD ENGAGEMENT SESSION

Gotta love a gem of a location local to Orange County! It’s so nice to not have to go up to SF to get some redwoods! Berto and Eliana wanted nature, so I gave them a few options and they chose to drive down from LA for their engagement session! It was SO FUN - I mean look at that light and how cute they are.

Alicia + Chris: Saratoga Springs Wedding

A SARATOGA SPRINGS WEDDING

What does a wedding look like in all black and white? I made it most of the way in all black and white. It’s hard. There are definitely moments that call for color, but man this wedding made sense. Greens aren’t always a photographer’s best friend, especially when you’re surrounded by them. Sure, they look beautiful in real life, but they also cast a green tint on your skin. Black and white can hide all those green tones and really bring our the emotions.
