We are here for all the elopement and intimate wedding options during the coronavirus outbreak! Joshua Tree is another amazing location to elope. You’re surrounded by rocks, Joshua trees, and open desert, which makes for amazing photos like these! Chase and Jenny drove out to Joshua Tree to play dress up in this rad suit from Friar Tux and this beautiful dress from Rue de Seine. I shot a mix of film and digital, too!

Joshua Tree is a little harder to host a virtual wedding since there’s hardly any service in the park, but if you’re just excited to get married and want a beautiful location, this is the spot! Hire a photo AND video team, so you can have both to share with family and friends.

Jeong + Phillip: Pasadena City Hall Elopement

A PASADENA CITY HALL ELOPEMENT

In the midst of COVID-19, most weddings are being postponed unfortunately, BUT as things begin to open again, intimate weddings and elopements are becoming more of a thing. Couples still want to get married on their original wedding day, which I 100% support. The Honda Center is hosting elopements (ie the couple + a witness/photographer) and some people are even hosting an intimate wedding in their backyard. They’re able to still get married on their wedding date with their family and friends watching virtually then have a big party later on!

Jeong and Phillip were ahead of the game! We met last year before their official wedding abroad because they wanted to focus on bridal portraits in their hometown. They dressed up in their wedding attire and we wandered all around Pasadena including Old Town Pasadena, the Rose Bowl, and Pasadena City Hall.
