Kyle + Michele’s New York Wedding
Get ready for one of the most unique days I've ever photographed, full of love, intimate moments, and nonstop fun in this intimate Wall Street wedding. I am beyond grateful to have had the honor of capturing Kyle & Michele’s New York wedding this summer.
Getting Ready In Their New York Home
Michele got ready in their apartment alongside her sister, brother in law, niece, father and some of her closest friends. One of the major perks of getting ready in your own place on your wedding day is the feeling of comfort only your home can bring. It was so fun to capture these special moments of Michele & her loved ones enjoying some bubbly & helping Michele put the finishing touches on her bridal look before heading down to the ceremony.
An Intimate Ceremony In An Unexpected Location
Yes, I did just say down to the ceremony because Michele & Kyle chose to have a very intimate reception in their own apartment building! They opted to keep the ceremony very private with just their closest family as witnesses. Could it get any more intimate than just you, your fiance’ & just your family in your own building? The ceremony space gave us some beautiful architecture to capture photos in and some moody New York lighting with wood walls and a simple floral backdrop. Family centered ceremonies are always so special to be able to capture!
The Timeline For A Relaxed Wedding day
Kyle & Michele opted to have the opposite of a rushed & busy wedding day. They wanted time to soak in every moment of this special day with their loved ones. I highly recommend adding time to relax between the ceremony & reception in your wedding day timeline if possible to enjoy time with your husband or wife.
We were able to hang out in the apartment for an hour before heading to the reception at another location, which was perfect to beat the heat for a bit, it was a scorching 95'! This was the perfect opportunity for Kyle & Michele to soak in some time together as husband & wife before meeting the rest of their friends & family to continue their celebration!
Romantic Portraits With A NYC Backdrop
Having their wedding in their own apartment building allowed us to take some incredible romantic portraits all throughout the building & on the beautiful rooftop that had jaw dropping views of the New York skyline. I mean just look at these black and white tiles & bar photos, they give off such old school New York vibe!
Old New York Reception
These newlyweds rented out Harry’s Steakhouse for their fun filled reception that was just three blocks from their home. We were able to walk there. This day felt so intimate because Kyle & Michele intertwined their normal everyday life into the wedding day.
Harry’s Steakhouse was the ideal spot for the Kyle & Michele because not only is it their favorite restaurant but it also gives the old New York vibes they were searching for. From the dark and moody lighting, the wood bar & a room full of love & laughter, the reception was a perfect way to celebrate their love.
These two danced the night away with all their loved ones before heading home to start their lives as husband & wife.

This intimate Wall Street wedding was such an honor to capture & I was lucky enough to meet with Kyle & Michele before the big day to chat with them & see the locations we would be photographing. I love being able to do this with my couple to make sure we are comfortable with each other before the big day! Makes it so much more exciting when we see each other again!
