Judy and Mike’s September wedding was a gorgeous and intimate affair at The Wayfarer Chapel in Palos Verdes, California with just around 70 guests. Not only was this intimate day filled with love, it was also a day that continued to grow and grow with more loved ones throughout each part of the day and ended with a reception full of energy and killer dance moves you won’t want to miss. Getting Ready At Terranea Resort
Mike and Judy got ready for their wedding day at the gorgeous waterfront Terranea Resort. They booked a suite and got ready in separate rooms with their families. They opted to not have a wedding party so the morning was small and intimate with just family. Their closest friends would join them later for some sweet moments before the ceremony.
Emotional First Look With Judy & Mike
While we were still at Terranea, Judy and Mike did their first look and we also HAD to get some romantic portraits with the ocean backdrop and perfect natural lighting! We had such gorgeous weather and lighting for all the must have photographs we needed to capture.
First looks are always some of my favorite moments I have the honor of capturing. It’s so special to see such an intimate moment that really makes the reality of it being your wedding day REAL. Seeing your soon to be wife or husband for the first time on your wedding day is a moment you will never forget.

An Intimate Ceremony At The Beautiful Wayfarer Chapel
After we finished up some romantic photographs it was time to head to the ceremony at Wayfarer Chapel, but Judy and Mike’s limo was running late. We all jumped in a couple of cars and drove to the venue together. I wound up driving all the girls to the ceremony and we made it just in time! So, add transportation to my list of skills on your big day!
The Wayfarer Chapel is one of the most gorgeous wedding venues I've ever seen and also super unique! With huge glass windows and ceilings, the view is jaw dropping and the lighting on a sunny day is just *chefs kiss*! I mean just look at these photographs and try to keep your jaw off the floor.

Okay, okay, so I'm not done sharing all the romantic photos from this intimate wedding just yet! We had to get some more shots of Judy and Mike after the ceremony. I always feel like photos after the ceremony show so much emotion and all those butterflies and pure joy the couple felt during the ceremony shine through.

Don’t let an intimate wedding fool you, these are always some of the most fun and energetic receptions I get to photograph (and join in on dancing with). Judy and Mike’s guest count grew with every location we went to from the Terranea Resort to the Wayfarer Chapel and finally the reception at Blue Water Grill in Redondo Beach.
