Alyssa and Gustavo had an intimate elopement at the New York City Hall on a chilly day in January of 2020. This was such a beautiful day filled with love and sophisticated New York style. Alyssa + Gustavo Eloping In The City
I had photographed Alyssa and Gustavo’s engagement photos on the Brooklyn Bridge (check those out here) so I was familiar with the style they wanted. Alyssa let me know she was looking for the love and connection to be captured between them. They requested timeless, classic and crisp photos they could look back on for the rest of their lives that would showcase the day they began their journey as husband and wife. I know, hold back the tears!! I think we captured this special day for them with stunning candids as well as some posed photos.
Wedding Portraits In New York City
I met with the newlyweds right after their civil ceremony at city hall, which their closest 8 friends attended. Like I said it was such a chilly day so we took a few family photos and then we walked around the city for a bit to get these gorgeous and timeless shots all over New York City! Before we lost all feeling in our hands and feet we ran over to the reception where everyone else was waiting for their arrival.

Alyssa and Gustavo had their reception at the delicious Italian restaurant, Aurora Ristorante in Brooklyn. They had all their friends and family with them here to celebrate the new husband and wife. They were even able to decorate the restaurant with some wedding decor, which was such a nice touch.
